K-Beta: Come Closer

K-Beta's mixtape 89-09 got a lot of burn for me last year and I've been excited to hear some new material from this dude. After finally checking my inbox for the first time in a few months, I see he's got a tape coming out April 1st (my bday hellz yea) titled INGLORIOUS BETA which I'll definitely be checking for. I was listening to a few of the promo tracks and "Come Closer" really caught my ear. 89-09 showed us that Beta can straight up spit but this track shows his ability to craft a complete song. The instrumental by E-Minah and chorus by Mina just fit the relationship theme of the song perfectly and Beta's toned down delivery and lyrics are carefully executed. That last verse is straight up reality music...we've all been there.
