TOP 10 American Gangster Remixes !!!!!

So after the frenzy the Black Album remixes caused, Jay Z released the acapella version of American Gangster to keep the album buzz going and as expected tons of producers and djs are giving the album a makeover. Everyone wants to be the next DJ Dangermouse, who gained huge exposure after the Grey Album (Beatles vs. Jay Z) leading to the Gorillaz and Gnarls Barkley projects. I've prob skimmed through about 40 of these albums and you can usually tell within the first minute of skimming through 2 or 3 songs whether its trash or not. I'm a huge blend fan, but for projects like these I think producers who make their own beats to fit Jay Z's flow have much better results than just throwing Hov over some Storch or Just Blaze beats. And the songs are just more refreshing to listen to with each producer giving it their all in creativity to catch their big break. So if you were a huge fan of the original American Gangster album and wanna check out some of these remixes I'm gonna make it easier for you and post all the ones worth checking out. As the number of remix tapes increases I'll replace some of the following ones with better ones to keep ONLY THE TOP 10. SO HERE ARE IMO THE 10 BEST AMERICAN GANGSTER REMIX TAPES (starting with the best IMO)

**I was looking for some other links to these tapes cuz most of mine are rapidshare and stumbled up kevinnottingham's blog. He's actually been posting ALL OF THE TAPES, so after listening to some of these tapes on the dj/producers' myspace pages, if you liked one of the tapes that didn't crack the top 10 go check out his blog cuz I'm sure he has it***

I wonder who will be the first person on the web to release a decent nine inch nails and Jay - Z mashup album

trent reznor (the artist behind nine inch nails) has released his multi-track files - including every track for Mac garageband, as well as high quality AVI files for his 'Year Zero' album as well as his 'Ghosts' album. He has also included his downward spiral album in an instrumental version for download ---- and they areall available legally for free...

since Jay - Z has acapella versions of both American Gangsta and Black album, I wonder who will be the first person to take the plunge and get creative.

more NIN remixes files can be found at : http://remix.nin.com/
(note - you will need to create a login with an e-mail to get the files)

the multi-track files can also be found at: http://yearzero.nin.com/
(note it's down the bottom of the page)

his website ( http://www.nin.com/ ) also has plenty of huigh resolution album art images if a creative person wants to create mash-up album art as well

--- anyway, have fun mixing
